Johnson Jnr Eziefula was born in 1998, in Surulere, Lagos.

Eziefula is a young contemporary mixed-media artist, practicing art under the movement known as Contemporealism; coined from Contemporary Art & Hyperrealism.

He hails from Imo State, but is presently based in Lagos. His interest and love for arts has been evident since he was a child, as he would draw and paint almost on any suitable surface he came across. He focused on sciences during his early schooling years and is currently a finalist from Faculty of pharmacy, University of Lagos, but upon stumbling on Hyperrealism in 2015, his interest towards art was rekindled.

Overtime he evolved and began practicing art professionally and publicly in October, 2019. He is a self-taught artist, who specializes in drawing and painting; exploring the medium of charcoal, acrylic, pastel and fabric on paper and canvas. He focuses on Cultural Hybridity, Blackness, pop-culture, Identity, Personality and Human Psychology (although his scope of discussions are not limited to these subject matters). He aims to depict his observations, personal encounters, curiosities and his person, through the combination of colour, shapes, portraiture & symbolism.
